Tom serves as the Executive Chairman of CertifID, a next-generation digital solution used to protect electronic payments from fraud. He and his business partner, Lawrence Duthler, created the solution in response to a fraud incident they experienced in 2015 and the accelerating instances of fraud in real estate transactions.
He is also a real estate broker and the CEO of Sun Title, one of the largest commercial and residential title agencies in Michigan. The companies he supports have been recognized in Inc. magazine, 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, Momentum Leader, PartnerStack, Built in Austin, Purpose Jobs, 50 Businesses to Watch in Michigan Newsmaker of the Year. Tom is a licensed attorney, title insurance producer, real estate broker and national subject matter expert on cyber security and wire fraud and has been featured in Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Good Morning America, Forbes, and other national publications.

Mike Rothman

Michael Rothman is the Senior Manager of The Fund’s Legal Education Department. Mr. Rothman is responsible for supervising the preparation and delivery of all Legal Education Department content, including its CLE-accredited webinars and seminars, and live training classes, including New Member Training and Fund Commercial Training. Prior to joining The Fund, Mr. Rothman was a partner in the Miami firm of Rothman & Tobin, P.A., where he served as an outside claims counsel for the title insurance industry, assisting in the resolution of title claims presented by insured owners and lenders. Mr. Rothman also handled residential and commercial closings and represented some of Florida’s premier homebuilders in many south and central Florida communities, including Weston, Celebration, Baldwin Park and Lake Nona. Mr. Rothman is a graduate of SUNY-Albany and the University of Miami School of Law.

Sherry Conner-Neuman

Sherry Conner-Neuman began her prestigious career in 1990 with an abstracting company based in Irving, Texas. At Lands Records of Texas, Sherry was responsible for order entry, accountable for customer service, reliable with the management of the data base for the title commitment and collaborating with the trustees on foreclosure Tuesday in all 254 counties in the State of Texas. Just a short two years later, Sherry began working as an Escrow Assistant for Commonwealth Land Title (Dallas and Irving). As the Escrow Assistant to the commercial division at Preston Center her primary responsibilities included title commitment curative matters, reviewing surveys, funding, and issuing the final policies to her clients.
Sherry continued serving her community and clients when she moved to Fidelity National Title in 1996, serving as an Escrow Officer for the commercial under five million and all of the residential for the branch. In 1997, Commonwealth Land Title/LandAmerica provided an opportunity for Sherry to move into a leadership role as the Branch Manager. During her tenure she was heavily involved in rolling out new software to all twelve (12) offices as well as rolling out Supervisor Service Program to the Southwest Region of LandAmerica.
At Hexter Fair/First American Title Sherry served from 2007 till 2015 as the Senior Escrow Officer for the Irving branch, moving to Fair Texas Title in 2016. Sherry continues to serve at Fair Texas Title where she currently holds the position of Director of Escrow Training and Compliance, Sr. Escrow Officer. Working with partners and other training teams throughout the organization, Sherry remains active regarding the closing of commercial and residential transactions.
Married to her saint of a husband, often referred to as “Neuman”, Sherry and Tony have two wonderful and endearing daughters, Mattie, and Sydney. Mattie is graduating from the Texas Women’s University in December of 2023 and Sydney will further education transferring to the University of Texas in Arlington in 2023. In their spare time, the Neuman’s love to be outdoor, traveling and enjoying their fur boys, Bentley, Joe, and Simon.

Leslie Wyatt
Director of Regulatory Compliance

Leslie Wyatt is the Director of Regulatory Compliance at SoftPro. She began her career in the real estate industry over 20 years ago, and joined SoftPro in 2002. She currently oversees the Compliance Department with her primary focus being on regulatory issues at the Federal, state and county levels.
Leslie is a member of the ALTA Implementation Task Force, the Title Action Network Steering Committee, the ALTA Government Affairs Committee, the ALTA Membership Committee, the ALTA Education Committee and the TLTA Federal Issues Committee. She has represented ALTA at a congressional briefing regarding the CFPB and the TRID changes. Leslie travels though out country speaking on our industry’s hot topics with a focus on regulatory and compliance. Leslie continuous to work with the CFPB on various projects regarding TRID, UCD, MISMO and other industry hot topics.
