Financial services law firm Garris Horn PLLC welcomes mortgage industry veterans Raymond Snytsheuvel and Roger Fendelman.
Fendelman and Snytsheuvel each bring more than 20 years of industry experience and focus on federal and state consumer financial protection laws, including the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), RESPA, TILA, TRID, Qualified Mortgage (QM), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and fair lending.
In addition, Snytsheuvel advises clients on corporate matters, risk management issues, and operational challenges, while Fendelman provides counsel to lenders and technology providers on compliance technology (FinTech and RegTech), cybersecurity and compliance management systems. Snytsheuvel and Fendelman will join the leadership of the firm.
“Ray and Roger have both spent many years in-house at national mortgage lenders and technology companies where they gained first-hand knowledge of day-to-day operations. Their unique experience will give Garris Horn’s clients an advantage when it comes to navigating the impacts of the regulatory environment and technology,” firm founder Richard Horn said.
“Given our long history in mortgage lending operations and compliance technology, both Ray and I bring a hands-on, practical approach to the practice of law. We look forward to assisting our clients with compliance challenges while helping them meet their business objectives,” Fendelman said.
