The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced it recently resolved one the biggest housing accessibility cases in its history.
The owners, developers and builders of 82 multi-family housing complexes in 13 states have agreed to make extensive modifications to their properties and pay a penalty to resolve claims that they designed and constructed apartment complexes that are inaccessible to persons with disabilities.
