The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) announced Latonia Donaldson, senior vice president and national director of multicultural community lending at PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital company, will chair the organization’s 2023 corporate board of governors.
Donaldson has more than 17 years of experience in mortgage banking, management, and community development. She is responsible for creating mortgage opportunities within multicultural segments and underserved markets by providing homeownership education and financial literacy to potential homebuyers. Donaldson will serve with co-chair Luis Padilla, the immediate past NAHREP national president.
“We are blessed to have Latonia join the NAHREP corporate board of governors. Her years of respected leadership and successes in expanding homeownership and generational wealth will steward the NAHREP legacy for a new generation,” 2023 NAHREP President Nuria Rivera said.
“I am deeply grateful to the leadership of NAHREP for entrusting me to serve as 2023 chairperson of the corporate board of governors,” Donaldson said. “Serving alongside such esteemed colleagues for the past 19 years has been my honor and privilege. I look forward to working with each member to continue to push NAHREP’s bold vision to create wealth in Latino communities across the U.S.”
The corporate board of governors comprises executives from NAHREP’s top corporate partners, major trade associations, and civil rights organizations. The corporate board provides industry and practitioner insights on the Hispanic real estate market, analyzes business opportunities for NAHREP’s corporate partners, and advises the organization on housing policy.
