The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is seeking external experts with diverse viewpoints to serve on four advisory boards established to provide the agency with information about emerging trends and practices in the consumer financial marketplace.
The four advisory boards are the Consumer Advisory Board, the Community Bank Advisory Council, the Credit Union Advisory Council, and the Academic Research Council.
The bureau began accepting applications for membership on all four advisory committees on July 5. Specially, the CFPB said it sought applicants who are:
To apply to serve on one of the advisory boards, applicants must submit a package which includes a resume or curriculum vitae, recommendation letters, completed questionnaires and a cover letter explaining interests and qualifications. Complete application packets must be received on or before July 24, 2022.
