Jamey Seely, one of today’s singular corporate executives who simultaneously holds business and legal roles, has joined the advisory and coaching division of BarkerGilmore, a New York-based boutique executive search firm.
Seely currently serves as president and general Counsel of Integra, Inc., a leading developer of Blockchain technology for the legal industry.

Seely previously served as executive vice president and general counsel of the Gates Industrial Corporation PLC (NYSE: GTES), a global leader in power transmission and fluid power products and services, and led a successful IPO. While executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at ION Geophysical, Inc. (NYSE: IO), a global technology company, she managed all financing arrangements, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and strategic alliances, and the bond restructuring of the company’s debt.
Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president of alternative energy for NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG), with management and legal oversight of multiple new business and startup ventures related to enhanced oil recovery, solar power, and nuclear project development.
A recipient of the “2019 Outstanding Women in Business Awards, Large Corporation” from the Denver Business Journal, and the “2019 Trailblazer in Business” by Aspioneer, she was named “One of the 25 Most Powerful Women” by the Denver Chamber of Commerce. She was cited as a “Trailblazer in Energy Law” by the National Law Journal in 2017, one of the “Top 50 Women in Energy” by the Texas Diversity Council, and one of the “Top Women in Energy for 2016” by Texas Lawyer.
Seely graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law and received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Baylor University. She holds a Professional Certificate in Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies from Stanford University, and is licensed to practice law in Texas and New York.
