The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Department of Education (DOE) have signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to better serve student loan borrowers who file complaints.
The MOU spells out how the agencies should handle complaints, permissible uses of exchanged information and share data analytics.
