The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) once again has reconsidered its stance in a case brought by three Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac shareholders.
Former acting director Joseph Otting previously stated it was unnecessary for the court to reach the constitutionality of the agency’s for-cause removal provision to resolve the case and affirm the dismissal of the plaintiffs’ claims.
