A California company has filed its petition making an argument for why the Supreme Court should use its fight against the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to decide whether the agency’s structure violates the constitutional separation of powers.
This would be the second opportunity the Supreme Court has to decide whether the CFPB – and every regulation enacted by it – is unlawful.
